Jonathan Treiber joined the Jackrabbit staff in August of 2015 as the director of athletic marketing after spending one year as a graduate assistant and four years as an intern for the marketing and promotions department.

Treiber’s responsibilities include the creation and implementation of the marketing and promotions schedules, as well as increasing overall brand awareness. He also oversees the Barnyard Cadets, a student group designed to create and promote student engagement across the SDSU campus, as well as Junior Jacks, a kids club geared towards building interest in the Jackrabbits.

In addition to his daily duties, Treiber oversees the marketing budget and serves as the spirit squad coordinator. Along with the marketing duties, he works as the game day producer, where he updates music playlists and coordinates sponsorship fulfillment.

Originally from Beresford, S.D., Treiber graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Advertising, with a Public Relations emphasis, as well as a marketing minor. He completes his master's degree in Sport and Recreation Studies in May of 2016.

Treiber currently resides in Brookings.
