CROSS COUNTRY: Redshirt.
BEFORE SDSU: Saw a successful high school track and field career, as Leur won the 800m (2023), 1600m & 4x400m (2024), and 400m & 3200m (2025) at the Mississippi 8 Conference Championships... Was a six-time Mississippi 8 All Conference recipient (2023, 2024, 2025)... At the state level, Leur assisted his team to a runner-up finish in the 4x800m relay (2022), and a third-place finish a year later (2023) at the Minnesota State Class AA Championship... Individually, he won the 800m twice (2024, 2025), and the 1600m (2025) at the Minnesota State Class AA State Championships... In his cross country career, he assisted his team to win the Mississippi 8 Conference Cross Country Team Championship all four years (2020, 2021, 2022, 2023)... Assisted his team to win the Minnesota State Class AA Cross Country Team Champions (2021)... Individually, Leur won the Mississippi 8 Conference Cross Country Championship two years in a row (2023, 2024) and earned Mississippi 8 All Conference Cross Country all four years of his high school career (2021, 2022, 2023, 2024)... He is the high school record holder in the 800m, 1600m, 4x400m, and 4x800m in track and field, and holds the 5K record in cross country... Leur earns his love of track and field from his parents, as his mother, Sara Leuer, competed in track and field at Minnesota State Mankato, and his father, Steve Leuer, competed at at the University of Wyoming and Bemidji State.
