OUTDOOR: Competed six times….Pierre’s outdoor season started where his indoor season ended and again peaking at The Summit League Outdoor Championships (5/12-14/22). Pierre set a huge personal best to break the school record in prelims in the 110H – 14.08 (+2.3) and a giant school record in the prelims of the 400H – 55.40 to make the final round. In the finals, Pierre won in great fashion, leading after the first hurdle and not relinquishing the lead. In the 400H, Pierre finished eighth and scoring a point for the Jackrabbits.
INDOOR: Competed six times…Pierre continued to push his name up the all-time list in the 60H each competition and peaking at The Summit League Indoor Championship (2/25-26/22) contributing to a team title. Pierre changed the momentum of the championships winning the 60H and School Record time of 7.98, while capping off the meet as a pivotal member of the 4x400m Relay (3rd leg) finishing third place – 3:15.16.
2020-21:
OUTDOOR: Appeared in six meets participating in both the 110 and 400 meter hurdles as well as the 4x400 meter relay...earned all-conference honors in the 110 meter hurdles for his 14.38, bronze effort at the Summit League Outdoor Championships...aided the Jackrabbits to a fifth place finish in the 4x400 meter relay at the outdoor championships clocking in at 3:19.95...tacked another scoring performance at the conference championships with a season best time of 56.32 in the 400 meter hurdles good enough for seventh overall.
INDOOR: Competed in seven meets participating in the 60 meter hurdles, 400 meters, shot put and 4x400 meter relay...set a season best while finishing fifth in the 60 meter hurdles prelims at the Summit League Indoor Championships with a time of 8.22...the 60 meter hurdles prelim time pushes Lear into a tie-for-sixth all-time in the SDSU record books...Lear would go on to finish fifth overall in the conference finals with a time of 8.24...recorded a 10th-place finish at the SDSU Indoor Classic in the 400 meters for a season best time of 50.77.
