2017-18: Backed up at 184 pounds ... started season strong with back-to-back runner-up finishes at the Warren Williamson/Daktronics Open (11/5) and Bison Open (11/11) ... moved up to 197 pounds for dual against Minnesota and came away with 8-6, sudden-victory decision over Bobby Steveson (11/17) ... final action of the season came at Midlands Championships, where he posted a 1-2 record (12/29)
2016-17: Sat out the season as a redshirt, but competed in open tournaments ... compiled a 25-9 record with a pair of pins and placed in top five of six of seven tournaments ... opened season with a third-place finish at the Warren Williamson/Daktronics Open (11/6) ... recorded a fourth-place finish at the Cyclone Open (11/13) ... lone championship of the season came in the 184-pound division at the Worthington Open (1/21) ... turned in third-place finishes at Husky Open (12/10) and Sioux City Open (2/4)
