2024-25: Went 1-2 in competition at 149 pounds … picked up only win over Minnesota’s Jack Nelson at the Bison Open (11/9).
2023-24: Backed up Alek Martin at 149 pounds … went 14-4 overall and 1-0 in duals … won 11 of bouts by decision … finished fifth at the Soldier Salute (12/29-30) and sixth at A Better Way Patriot Open (12/3) … only dual win came over Northern State’s Wyatt Turnquist by decision (11/17).
2022-23: Did not wrestle competitively during the 2022-23 season
2021-22: Moved into the starting role at 149 pounds ... ended the season with a 19-20 overall record, including an 8-7 mark in duals ... tied for third place at the season-opening Bison Open with a 4-1 record (11/13) ... placed fourth at the UNI Open (12/11) ... went 3-0 in duals at quadrangular hosted by Northern Illinois (12/18) ... turned in a 2-2 record at the Southern Scuffle (1/1) ... avenged loss earlier in the season to West Virginia's Jeff Boyd with a 3-1 victory in home dual action (1/28) ... rallied in the final seconds for an 8-7 decision against North Dakota State's Gaven Sax in final dual of the season (2/20) ... went 0-2 at Big 12 Wrestling Championship (3/5)
2020-21: Provided depth at 141 pounds, posting a 7-7 overall record ... notched a 6-4 victory over Trevor Jeffries of Wyoming at Air Force Multi (1/17) for first win of the season ... finished year strong by winning six of final seven matches, starting with a 12-3 major decision over Little Rock's Austin Keal (1/31) ... moved up to 149 pounds for season finale at Last Chance Challenge (2/20) and came away with a pair of victories
2019-20: Redshirted ... put together a successful season in open competitions, compiling a 12-7 record and placing in the top three at four of six tournaments ... in first collegiate competition, was runner-up in the 133-pound weight class at the Bison Open (11/9) ... wrestled his way to a third-place finish at the Warren Williamson/Daktronics Open (11/17) ... won five matches, including two by major decision, en route to claiming the title at the BVU Open (12/7) ... completed first season with a runner-up finish at the Last Chance Open (2/22)
BEFORE SDSU: Compiled a 127-11 record over his last three seasons at Don Bosco Catholic High School in Gilbertville, Iowa, winning a Class 1A state title at 106 pounds as a junior ... ended his prep career with a 43-2 record en route to a runner-up finish in the 120-pound division as a senior ... wrestled as a member of Team Iowa at the 2019 Fargo Nationals
