2017-18: Lone action of the season for the Jackrabbits came at Warren Williamson/Daktronics Open, where he placed sixth in 125-pound weight class with a 2-3 record (11/5) ... both of his victories were by technical fall
2016-17: Redshirted during his first season with the Jackrabbits, but wrestled in open competitions ... posted an 18-10 record, with eight wins by technical fall and three by fall .. recorded five top-five finishes ... opened collegiate career with 2-2 record at Warren Williamson/Daktronics Open (11/6) ... placed fifth at Finn Grinaker Open with 2-2 mark (11/19) ... began 10-match winning streak by winning final two matches at Husky Open en route to third-place finish (12/10) ... shared 125-pound title with twin brother, Justin, at Ridgewater Open (1/14), then claimed title a week later at Worthington Open (1/21) ... placed second at Sioux City Open (2/4)
BEFORE SDSU: Won three consecutive state titles in the lower weights, claiming the 113-pound Class 1A title as a sophomore, the 126-pound title as a junior and 120-pound championship as a senior … went a combined 126-2 over his three state-title seasons … completed a perfect 32-0 season as sophomore and was 50-1 as a junior … posted a 44-1 record as a senior … also excelled in folkstyle and freestyle tournaments, winning championships at the USA Wrestling Folkstyle Nationals and Preseason Nationals
