2025-26: Slotted into the starting spot at 165 pounds after backing up Drake Rhodes in 2024-25 … put together a 15-12 overall record, going 6-5 in duals … finished 6th at the Big 12 Wrestling Championships in a loaded 165-pound bracket … finished 2nd at the Tiger Style Invitational … took 6th at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational, the premier mid-season tournament in the country … scored only ranked win of the season against No. 33 Logan Fowler during SDSU’s dual against Air Force … scored 10 of his 15 wins with bonus points … NWCA Scholar All-American and Academic All-Big 12 Selection.

2024-25: Backed up Drake Rhodes at 165 pounds, filling in while Rhodes was out with an injury…put up a record of 20-9 overall with a 5-4 record in duals … scored wins over 2024 National Qualifiers Joseph Bianchi (Little Rock) and Blaine Brenner (Minnesota)... racked up six technical fall wins throughout the season … scored decision win over Paul Ognissanti of Penn to start a Jackrabbit comeback during the NWCA National Duals … put up 19 dual team points during the season.

2023-24: Redshirted his freshman season at SDSU alongside twin brother Moses … went 15-8 throughout the year … crowned champion at the Dragon Open (12/3) and Worthington Open (1/20) at 165 pounds … won six of his bouts by technical fall.

Before SDSU: Marcus was a three-time state champion in three different weight classes ... compiled a 147-16 career record after winning Class 5A state titles at 152 pounds as a freshman (32-5 record), 165 pounds his junior season (44-3) and 175 pounds as a senior (42-4) ... also was state runner-up in the 160-pound weight class his sophomore season, finishing with a 29-4 record
