2020-21: Competed in five events, but did not see any dual action in posting a 6-5 overall record ... split matches at season-opening NDSU Quadrangular (1/3) ... went 2-2 at 141 pounds at Air Force Multi, winning by technical fall and decision (1/17) ... closed season by winning final two matches between the SDSU Triangular (2/13) and Last Chance Challenge (2/20) while wrestling at 149 pounds
2019-20: Wrestled at 141 pounds and compiled a 10-7 record in open tournaments ... turned in a runner-up finish at the UNI Open (12/14) ... posted a 4-2 mark in individual competition at the South Beach Classic, winning two matches by major decision and another by technical fall (12/29-30) ... in his final competition of the season, went 3-0 at the Ridgewater Open and shared the title with teammate Caleb Gross (1/11)
2018-19: Held the starting position at 133 pounds for much of the year, after beginning the dual season at 141 pounds … placed seventh in 141-pound weight class at Buena Vista Open with a 4-2 record ... lone dual victory was an 8-5 decision over Utah Valley’s Isaiah Delgado (1/31) … went 0-2 at Big 12 Wrestling Championship (3/9)
2017-18: Served as an understudy to national champion Seth Gross at 133 pounds ... redshirted, but compiled a 20-10 record as a competitor in open tournaments ... recorded five top-five tournament finishes, starting with third-place effort at Bison Open (11/11) ... also posted a third-place finish a week later at Finn Grinaker Open (11/18) ... turned in 4-1 record as part of third-place effort at MSU Dragon Open (12/2) .... ended calendar year with fifth-place finish at UNI Open (12/9) ... notched 5-1 record en route to fifth-place standing at Worthington Open (1/20)
BEFORE SDSU: Qualified for Minnesota Class AAA state meet in four different weight classes and was a finalist in three during a standout career at Sartell-St. Stephen High School … finished second at 106 pounds as a freshman before winning a state title at 113 pounds during his sophomore season, ending the year with a 38-1 record … was runner-up at 120 pounds as a junior and took third at 126 pounds as a senior … compiled a four-year record of 152-8, winning at least 36 matches each season … also excelled in USA Wrestling competition, earning All-America honors twice at Fargo Nationals … won state freestyle and Greco-Roman titles at 132 pounds in the spring of 2016
