BEFORE SDSU: Compiled a 201-35 career record with 92 pins for the Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg High School program … over his final three seasons he went 137-3, winning 46 matches in a season twice and 45 matches once with one loss each year … recorded a state runner-up finish as a sophomore and third-place finishes as both a junior and senior … also posted a second-place finish at high school Nationals following his sophomore year and was a Junior Freestyle state champion in 2014, earning a spot on both Junior and Schoolboy national teams
