The Bobcat men's basketball team saw a 35% follower increase on social media from 2021 to 2022, which ranked third in Division I men's basketball trailing only Providence and Seton Hall. Pedersen's track and field and cross country teams had numerous highlights in his time as well. He helped promote seven Academic All-America selections during his time, with four Bobcats earning First Team All-America accolades. He also helped publicize the program's first top 25 national rankings in nearly two decades along with the exploits of Duncan Hamilton, who was the national runner-up in steeplechase at the 2022 NCAA Championships and was a 2020 Olympic Team finalist.Â
