Dr. Donna Flint was appointed Faculty Athletics Representative at South Dakota State University in the summer of 2020. She also serves as assistant department head and professor in SDSU's Department of Mathematics and Statistics.

Dr. Flint has been with SDSU since 1999. She earned her Ph.D in 1999 at the University of Texas at Arlington. She usually teaches Real Analysis and leads the Senior Capstone courses. Other courses she has taught include Honors Calculus II, Honors Colloquium (Numeracy and Mathematics and the Arts), Advanced Calculus, Survey of Analysis, Topology, Linear Algebra, Matrix Algebra, Quantitative Literacy, College Algebra, Calculus sequence, Precalculus, Intro to Statistics, and various topics courses. She has also taught online courses from freshman level through graduate courses.
Dr. Flint is a member of The Mathematical Association of America, is on the Section NExT leadership team and serves as Information Officer for the North Central Section of the MAA. She is also a member of the Editorial Board of the MAA Spectrum Series.
