Julia Baker joined the South Dakota State sports medicine staff as an Assistant Athletic Trainer in August of 2024. She oversees sports medicine duties for the Jackrabbits Cross Country and Track and Field teams.Â
Prior to joining South Dakota State Baker served as a Graduate Athletic Training Assistant at Iowa State where she worked with the football, volleyball, and women's basketball programs both in graduate and undergraduate studies. She also worked at Ballard High School as a Graduate Athletic Training Student, where she worked with over 200 student-athletes across six sports.
Baker graduated from Iowa State in 2024 with a bachelor's and master's degree in athletic training.
