Elyse Brouillette joined the South Dakota State swimming and diving program in August 2017 as the first-ever fulltime diving coach for the Jackrabbits.
Brouillette comes from Iowa State after spending the last year as a volunteer diving coach. She also served as head coach for the Iowa Twisters Dive Club.
Before serving as a volunteer coach for the Cyclones, Brouillette spent four years diving for Iowa State. She owns the school record on the one-meter board, is second in school history on the three-meter board and sits third on platform.
Brouillette served as team captain for two years, was named Big 12 Diver of the Week five times, earned All-Big 12 recognition nine times and was named Iowa State’s Most Valuable Diver all four years. She capped off her career with four-straight appearances at the NCAA Zone Diving Championships.
The Omaha, Nebraska, native earned a bachelor of arts in liberal studies from Iowa State in 2016.
