COLUMBIA, Mo. ? South Dakota State opened play at the Tiger Invitational on Friday with an 8-3 loss to the host Missouri Tigers.
Due to weather and poor field conditions, the Jackrabbits and Tigers met indoors at the Dan Devine Sports Pavilion in Columbia, Mo.

South Dakota State returns to action on Saturday against Missouri at 1 p.m. and Boston University at 5:30.
Poor field conditions may again force the teams to play inside the Dan Devine Sports Pavilion, which would again prevent the games from being broadcast on GoJacks.com.
Missouri officials plan to make that decision on Saturday morning, but as of Friday night, expect the games to remain indoors.
