Jackrabbit riders win two competitions on Sunday

The South Dakota State equestrian team won both of its competitions on Sunday at the Swiftel Center, beating Minnesota-Crookston and Sacred Heart (Conn.)
The Jackrabbits trailed both schools after the English events, but earned all four points in both Western events, to secure a 10-4 win over Crookston and a 10-6 win over Sacred Heart.
Katie Hendrickson took home MVP honors in Horsemanship with a score of 75.5, while teammate Lydia Placzek earned MVP honors in Reining with a score of 70.
