Sexauer Field on the SDSU campus
Field Events start at 3:30pm, Track Events at 5:00pm
Brookings High School Athletic Complex
Intersection of Medary Ave & 5th Street South
Entry Information:
Entries will be done at http://www.aspimeetz.com/13601. Entries
will be due by 6pm on Monday April 26th by 7pm. Unattached athletes are
welcome.
Please use actual performances achieved during the 2009 or 2010 outdoor
season for seeding purposes.
Entry Fees:
$10 per athlete with $100 maximum per team per gender ($200 for both
a men's and women's team)
Unattached athletes will be charged $10.
General Information:
Packet pick-up & entry fee payment will take place at the shed at the east
entrance to the track complex beginning at 1:30pm.
Facilities-Brookings Athletic Complex on Medary Ave & 5th St. South on the campus
of Brookings High School. New surface completed in the fall of 2008.
• Pole Vault runway runs north/south east side adjacent to track
• Long/Triple Jump runway runs east/west
• Full High Jump/Javelin approaches on east side of infield
• Discus Throw and Shot Put competitions on west side of infield
Starting blocks will be furnished.
Hammer competition will be at Sexauer Field on the SDSU campus
Warm-ups-Absolutely no warm-ups on the infield at the high school facility-we are
throwing the Discus and Javelin inside the track.
• No permanent markings on the track
• 3/16” track spikes allowed
Implement Weigh-ins:
For Shot and Hammer weigh ins will take place at Sexauer Field up to
2:30pm. Javelin and Discus will take place at the high school in the shed
on the east side.
Field Event Check-in:
45 minutes prior to the event
Track Check In:
30 minutes prior at the west end shed-runners will receive hip numbers
Heat Sheets/Results:
Heat sheets will posted on www.GoJacks.com on Tuesday morning.
Results will be posted on the wall of the east shed as they become
available. The final results will be posted on www.GoJacks.com.
Meet Conduct:
NCAA rules will be followed, except where conduct of the meet
necessitates changes. There will be no jury of appeal and the decision of
the meet referee is final.
Athletic Training:
Trainers will be on site at both the high school and Sexauer Field.
Locker Room Facilities:
Showers will be available at HPER Center on the campus of SDSU.
Bus/Van Parking:
Please drop off your athletes on the east side of the track and then park in
the lot south of the track complex.
