The South Dakota State Jackrabbits travel to Cedar City, Utah to compete at the Summit League Outdoor Track and Field Championships, held Thursday through Saturday, on the campus of Southern Utah University.
The Jacks, who are battling a long bus trip and an altitude of over a mile, will look to improve on a men's third place and women's second place finish at The Summit League Indoor Championships, held earlier this year.
After earning five spots on the men's side and three on the women's to the NCAA Midwest Regional held in Norman, Okla. on May 29 and 30, the Jacks have several athletes in contention for an automatic berth. To qualify for the regional athletes must hit a qualifying standard or place first at the conference meet.
