Soccer falls to Iowa 2-0

IOWA CITY, IOWA — The South Dakota State University women's soccer team gave up two late goals and fell to the Iowa Hawkeyes 2-0 at the Iowa Soccer Complex Sunday.
The Hawkeyes knocked in a goals in the 70th minute and the 86th minute in the victory. Iowa outshoot the Jacks 13-3 in the match and didn't allow a shot on-goal for the contest.
SDSU falls to 0-3-1 on the year while Iowa improves to 2-1.
Brie Rogers recorded four saves in the game but gave up two goals in the loss.
The Jacks return to the friendly confines of Fishback Soccer Park for a two-game homestand this Friday, when they take on Wisconsin-Green Bay at 6 p.m.
