ST. CLOUD, Minn. -- The men's swimming and diving team beat Wisconsin-LaCrosse 178-63 and lost to St. Cloud State 151-90 on Saturday afternoon.
Sophomore Chris Schreier won two events for the Jackrabbits. Schreier won the 100-yard butterfly in 51.98 seconds and the 200-yard individual medley in 2:00.79.
Freshman Wil Hogue also won a pair of freestyle events. Hogue won the 50-yard freestyle in 21.48 seconds and the 100-yard freestyle in 46.90 seconds.
Sophomore Phil Albu won the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 51.60 seconds.
One other highlight for the Jackrabbit men came in the 1-meter diving competition, where sophomore Connor Florand set a school record with a score of 300.60. The mark also met a qualifying standard for the zones diving competition later in the season.
The men's team will next take on South Dakota in Vermillion on Nov. 19.
