South Dakota State right-hander Blake Treinen has been named Summit League Pitcher of the Week after leading the Jackrabbits to their first victory of the season.
A senior from Osage City, Kan., Treinen struck out 11 and did not walk a batter over eight innings in the Jackrabbits 2-0 win at Tennessee-Martin on March 6. With the victory, Treinen evened his record at 1-1 and improved to 8-2 in his two seasons in a Jackrabbit uniform.
