TULSA, Okla. - South Dakota State hung with preseason favorite Oral Roberts well into the second half of Saturday's showdown for Summit League supremacy, but the host Golden Eagles ran away in the second half to a 97-75 win.

"The problem was on the defensive end, not on the offensive end, it was just how poorly we played defensively," head coach Scott Nagy said. "Quite frankly, they have some great players that played at a high level."
Dominique Morrison led the Golden Eagles group of great players with 38 points on 11-for-15 shooting, which includes a 5-for-8 night from three-point range.
