Minnesota Hosts Jackrabbits on Tuesday

South Dakota State played at Minnesota every year from 2005-13, took last year off, and now resumes the series on Tuesday, when the Jackrabbits take on the Golden Gophers at Williams Arena in Minneapolis at 7 p.m. for the 18th meeting in a series that dates back to Dec. 6, 1930.
The Jackrabbits look to start a new winning streak after downing Wayne State (Neb.), 80-53, in their last game on Wednesday, while the Gophers look to get back on the winning track after falling to South Dakota, 85-81, in double overtime on Saturday afternoon in Minneapolis.
THE OPPONENT
MINNESOTA GOLDEN GOPHERS (5-3, 4-1 Home): After getting its streak of 47 consecutive non-conference home wins snapped on Saturday against South Dakota, Minnesota looks to start a new streak, and keep its perfect 17-0 mark against the Jackrabbits in tact.
Tuesday's game marks the third game for the Gophers against a Summit League team, with a 93-90 win over Omaha on Nov. 17 and last Saturday's game against South Dakota.
THE SERIES vs. MINNESOTA
The Gophers leads the all-time series 17-0, with all games played in Minneapolis. Minnesota won the first meeting, 59-21, on Dec. 6, 1930 and won the last meeting, 75-59, on Dec. 10, 2013.
