The South Dakota State equestrian team closed its fall season falling to No. 3 Georgia, 14-6, on Friday at the DeHaan Equestrian Center.

Jacey Chorlton won the lone point for the Jacks in equitation over fences with a 78-77 decision over Maddy Darst.

Taylor Duerr garnered her second-consecutive MOP honors by defeating Emma Mandarino, 81-73. Senior
Natalie Howard was also victorious with a 76-73 win over Darst.

Kelsey Swainston captured the lone point in horsemanship for SDSU, topping Sammie Johnson, 70.5-69 increasing her record to 3-3 on the season.

Mariah Wright had her third straight win in reining by dropping Charley Thiel, while
Makayla Reed upended Lindsey Cheek, 69-65.
