The South Dakota State track and field program wrapped up its regular-season Friday night at the Sanford-Jackrabbit Athletic Complex as it hosted the SDSU Last Chance.

Alejandro Sanchez won the 800-meter run recording a time of 1:50.69. Sanchez currently owns the top 800-meter run time in The Summit League on the season (1:50.57 at the SDSU Indoor Classic).

In throws, Micayla Terwee won the shot put throwing a distance of 44-06.00.
Jamie Begalka (42-04.75) and
Kasie Vollmer (41-03.25) finished second and third in the shot put.
Silvia Zanini won the weight throw with a toss of 61-10.50.

In the men's triple jump,
Josh Dotson took the crown, posting a mark of 46-05.25.
Ephram Albrecht finished in second with a jump of 46-00.00

Jaymie O'Connor won the 60-meter hurdles posting a time of 8.89.

Kyle Burdick won the 3,000 meter run in 8:32.40. It was the first time that Burdick ran the 3,000-meter run on the season.

In the women's 800-meter run,
Shyanne Kopfmann took the win, finishing in 2:20.20.
Rachel Eickhoff finished second posting a time of 2:21.10.

Brady Brockel claimed first in the 400-meter dash finishing in 49.56.
Marc Husman finished second with a time of 50.01.

In the high jump,
Riley Sears claimed the win with a jump of 6-06.75.
Evan Hieber finished second in the event clearing 6-04.75.

Miatta Flemister-Smith posted a personal-best time of 25.55 in the 200-meter dash to take first. Kenny Dru took the top spot in the 200-meter dash on the men's side, posting a time of 22.19.
