The South Dakota State track and field program will host The Summit League indoor championship meet for the first time Feb. 24-25 at the Sanford-Jackrabbit Athletic Complex.

Events will begin Friday with the heptathlon and pentathlon kicking off at 9:30 a.m. Field events are set to begin at 3Â p.m. and track events will start at 3:30 p.m. A full meet schedule along with additional meet information can be found on the

On the Season
The Jackrabbit Women had 13 student-athletes end up in the top-five on The Summit League's performance list, including taking the league's top spot in several events.

Carly Carper posted the top 60-meter dash time in the league on the season (7.57) and also finished with the second-fastest 200-meter run (24.59).

Emily Donnay was the top performer in both the mile run (4:50.45) and the 3,000-meter run (9:35.72).
Rachel King also posted top-five finishes in both the mile run (4:52.39) and 3,000-meter run (9:54.92)

Monique Mack is tied for first in the league in the high jump (6-08.00) on the season.

The Jackrabbit Men posted 20 top-five performances on The Summit League's performance list.

Alejandro Sanchez leads the league in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:50.57.
Cal Lawton is second in The Summit League on the season, posting a time of 1:52.75 at the SDSU Indoor Classic.

Zach Koosman is tied for first in the league in the high jump (7-00.25) and is tied for 37
th nationally.

Joel Reichow had the second-fastest 5,000-meter run of the season finishing in 14:07.19. He currently ranks 42
nd nationally with that mark.

Bryant Courter finished in the top five in three different events. He recorded the league's best long jump (23-07.50), finished second in the triple jump (47-07.00) and fourth in the high jump (6-08.75).
