The South Dakota State track and field program is set to host the third annual SDSU Indoor Classic Feb. 10-11 at the Sanford-Jackrabbit Athletic Complex.

The SDSU Indoor Classic will feature more than 1,700 athletes from more than 40 schools and five club teams.

The meet will begin Friday, Feb. 10 with both field and running events set to start at 2 p.m. The women's weight throw, high jump and long jump along with the men's shot put and pole vault will kick things off in field events. In running events, the women's distance medley relay will kick things off, with the men's distance medley relay to follow. The men's and women's 5,000-meter runs will wrap things up Friday night, with the women's scheduled for 7:40 p.m. and the men's scheduled for 8:25 p.m. On Saturday, running events will begin at 9:45 a.m., while field events are scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. A

Last Time Out
The distance unit competed in Lincoln, Neb., at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational, while the rest of the team competed at the Dakota Realty Alumni Invitational in Vermillion, S.D.

In Lincoln,
Emily Donnay finished the mile in a school-record time of 4:50.45. The previous record of 4:51.57 was held by Becka Mansheim and was set in 2006.Â
Rachel King finished the mile in 4:52.39, which ranks third on the all-time top-10 list.

In the men's mile,Â
Kyle Burdick finished second in a personal-best 4:08.12, which is also good for sixth on the all-time top-10 list.Â
Brendan Sage also ran the mile, finishing with a time of 4:15.55.

Joel Reichow moved into third on the all-time top-10 list in the 3,000-meter run after finishing in 8:13.93. On the womens side,Â
Emily Berzonsky finished the 3,000-meter run in 10:01.02

Lexi Weisbeck won the 600-meter run finishing in 1:39.09.
