SIOUX FALLS, S.D.--The South Dakota State track and field program won 10 titles as competition wrapped up Saturday at the 92nd Howard Wood Dakota Relays in Sioux Falls, S.D.
Both the men's and women's 4x400-relay teams won titles. On the women's side,
Savannah Dolezal,
Vanessa Lane,
Kayla McDonald and
Oksana Covey finished in 3:46.14 for first place. The mens team of
Anthony Bachmeier,
Marc Husman,
Adam Belhaj and
Dru Kenny combined to take the title in 3:15.33.

Kyle Burdick took first place in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 3:45.69, which also broke the 33-year-old meet record in the event.

In the women's discus throw,
Kasie Vollmer took the crown with a throw of 147-04.
Silvia Zanini finished second with a throw of 147-00.

Bryant Courter won the title in the men's long jump, posting a mark of 22-08.50.
Caleb Cowling finished second in the event with a jump of 22-06.50.

Kayla Neff finished third in the women's long jump recording a mark of 17-00.50.
In the men's shot put,
Kyle Anderson took fourth place with a distance of 51-01.00.

In the 100-meter hurdles,
Marissia Hagedorn recorded a time of 14.42 to finish in second place.
Jaymie O'Connor placed fourth with a time of 14.83.
Friday at the Dakota Relays
Two high jumpers set new personal bests en route to claiming the title.Â
Zach Koosman cleared 7-00.25 to win the title and move into third on the all-time top-10 list.Â
Monique Mack cleared a personal-best height of 5-10.00 in the high jump, finishing first and moving into the number two spot in school history.

A pair of Jackrabbits' won the men's and women's 800-meter run titles.Â
Oksana Covey posted a new personal-best time of 2:08.58 on the way to a first-place finish. Covey remains second in school history in the 800-meter run. On the men's side,Â
Alejandro Sanchez took the title in the 800-meter run finishing with a time of 1:50.20.

Josh Dotson won the men's triple jump with a mark of 49-00.50. Dotson currently ranks second in The Summit League in the triple jump.Â
Ephram Albrecht finished third (45-05.25) andÂ
J.J. Hejna finished fifth (43-11.25).

Kayla McDonald finished second in both the 200-meter run (24.65) and the 400-meter run (56.04).Â
Jacleen Patterson ran a new personal-best time of 56.23 in the 400-meter run to finish in third place. McDonald's time of 56.04 in the 400-meter run is tied for third in school history, while Patterson's time ranks fifth.
Hammer throwers found success on day one.Â
Colton Bender threw a distance of 188-11 for third place andÂ
Logan Ammons recorded a throw of 175-09 for fourth place. In the women's hammer throw,Â
Silvia Zanini finished second with a throw of 184-05 andÂ
Abby Sudbeck placed fourth with a distance of 176-00.

Rachel Astleford finished second in the javelin throw (116-10) and sixth in the shot put (40-02.75). Micayla Terwee finished second in the shot put with a mark of 43-05.75.
