Cassidy Laidlaw jumped 18 spots on the leaderboard to lead the South Dakota State women's golf team Tuesday in the final round of the MSU Payne Stewart Memorial.

The Jackrabbits tied for eighth, shooting a three-round 922 (310-304-308) on the par 71, 6,017-yard Twin Oaks Country Club. Memphis captured the title, firing an 874 and had three players finish in the top five.

Laidlaw shot a final-round one-over par 72 to tie for 11
th with a 224 (74-78-72). Sophomore
Sydney Bormann tied for 15
th, firing a 225 (76-71-78) and senior
Natcha Srimaneerungroj tied for 32
nd (76-73-80=229).

Junior
Magda Kruger finished 74
th (84-84-78=246) and freshman
Brooke Piearson tied for 86
th (85-82-87=254).
