South Dakota State hosted its last home meet of the season on Friday at the SDSU Last Chance Meet. Several Jackrabbits made lasting marks on the season before traveling to The Summit League Championships next weekend.

Rachel King broke the school record in the mile (4:48.94) by 2.43 seconds, as she won the race. It was also the SJAC record and the meet record. She held the previous mile record in the SDSU Last Chance Meet.

Redshirt freshman
Noah Huber recorded his personal-best mark in the shot put (53-05.50), along with unattached throwers

Jason Titus, and junior
Peter Bates. Huber movers into the seventh spot on the school's top 10 list all-time.

Krista Steele ran in her first 400m race of the indoor season, winning the event with the meet record and the sixth-fastest time in school history (56.73). It is her second career 400m race, first one indoors. Her time of 56.73 seconds is her overall PR.
Redshirt freshman
Josh Goehring recorded his first his first 400m dash indoors, winning the event with a personal-best mark of 50.09 seconds.Â
Sophomore
Chloe Holtz recorded her first career mark in the triple jump (36-04.00), which ranks first on the team's season performance list.

Holtz also tied her career-best in the high jump (5-03.00) for the second time this season.

Freshman
Trent Francom won the pole vault (15-07.00) competition for the fourth time this season.

In the preliminary round of the 60m hurdles, sophomores
Sara Bohan and
Kayla Neff notched PR's. Bohan (9.46) trimmed her time down by 0.01 seconds while Neff (9.37) knocked off 0.25 seconds.

In the finals, Neff recorded her best time of the day (9.28), a career-best mark, which cut down her prelim time by another 0.09 seconds.
