2018 STATS FCS FINAL POLL 2018 AFCA COACHES POLL – FINAL

Following its second consecutive national semifinal appearance, South Dakota State finished third in both major Football Championship Subdivision polls, which were released Monday.

The Jackrabbits, who posted a 10-3 overall record in 2018 and made their seventh postseason appearance in a row, matched their final ranking from the previous season in the STATS FCS media poll, while attaining their highest final ranking in the AFCA coaches' poll. SDSU was tabbed third in both organizations' preseason polls.

National champion North Dakota State held the top spot in both polls, with runner-up Eastern Washington second in the rankings.
