The Jackrabbits wrapped up day two of the SDSUÂ Holiday Invite and Multi on Saturday with the men's and women's discus throw and the final four events of the men's heptathlon.
Senior
Evan Hieber reached a new personal best mark in the heptathlon with 5138 points (previous best was 5126, good enough for second place on the top 10 list.), and took second place in the field of 11.
Josh Donahoe picked up a new personal best with 4,112 (
previous best 4 ,091) to hold down the No. eight spot on the top ten list.Â
Kayla Neff scored 3061 points in the women's pentathlon on Friday, whileÂ
Kendyl Kreber followed grabbing 2951 points for 11th place.Â
In the throws,
Alexis Schmidt took second with a throw of 151-07.25 in the discus to claim the all-time pogram best discus mark (previous best was 146-05.00 by Silvia Zanini in 2006), while
Faith Leiseth picked up 139-09.25 points to take 10th in the competition.
In the men's discus,
Noah Huber retook the No. 1 spot on the all-time list with his throw of 167-03. Sam Coil threw for 148-09.75 to take eighth while
Bryce Ludwig threw for 139-09.5 and 10th place in the field of 16.
