OUTDOOR: Competed in nine meets during the outdoor season...had an outdoor best in the shot put of 14.67m (48’1.75”), ranking her fifth all time at SDSU...threw a school record distance of 53.07m (174’1”) in the discus at the South Dakota Challenge...fourth place finisher in both the shot put and the discus at the Summit League Outdoor Championship Meet...NCAA West Region qualifier in the discus.
INDOOR: Competed in eight meets during the indoor season...threw a new school record in the indoor discus of 46.51m (152’7”) at the SDSU Holiday Open & Multi...finished second with a personal record throw of 15.43m (50’7.5”) in the shot put at the Summit League Indoor Championship Meet, ranking her second all time in the indoor shot put...named all Summit League in the shot put
2020-21:
OUTDOOR: Hit an outdoor best of 14.60m (47’11”) in the shot put at the South Dakota Challenge, which ranks fifth all-time at SDSU. Threw a personal record in the discus of 50.37m (165’3”) at the South Dakota Tune-Up, which ranks fifth all-time at SDSU. Placed fourth in the discus and thirteenth in the shot put at the Summit League Outdoor Championship Meet.
INDOOR: Threw a personal record in the shot put at the Summit League Indoor Championship Meet of 14.61m (47’11.25”), which ranks in a tie for sixth place all-time at SDSU.
2019-20:
OUTDOOR: Season canceled
INDOOR: Competed in eight events across the shot put and discus… notched a PR in the shot put at the SDSU Indoor Classic with a distance of 44-4.0… finished 13th in the shot put at the Summit League Championships with a mark of 43-2.25… finished sixth in the Jim Emmerich Invitational in the shot put with a throw of 43-6.00.’
2018-19:
OUTDOOR: Competed in 14 events throwing shot put and discus at each event… had a solid showing at the Howard Wood Dakota Relays, finishing eighth in the shot put with a amark of 40-6.25 and picked up a PR in the discus with a mark of 151-0.00 to take fourth… finished 19th at the Summit League Championships in the shot put with a throw of 40-6.25 and 13th in the discus with a 135-0.00 mark.
INDOOR: Competed in eight events in her first season as a Jackrabbit… finished third in the discus at the SDSU Holiday Invite and Multi with a mark of 119-1.0… finished her rookie indoor campaign with a season-best 40-4.0 mark at the SDSU Last Chance.
BEFORE SDSU: Placed at South Dakota state track meet 2015-18...Sixth in discus in 2015... fourth in discus and sixth in shot put in 2016... second in discus and fourth in shot put in 2017...second in shot put in 2018... father David Leiseth was a top 10 record holding thrower for SDSU and played football for the Jacks... mother also graduated from SDSU... Brother Mason Leiseth was also a thrower for the Jacks (holds the SDSU record for outdoor shot put) and played football at SDSU... brother Tristen Leiseth was on the SDSU football team.
