SIOUX FALLS – South Dakota State diver Joey Weber was named Summit League Male Diver of the Week for the second time this season, as announced by the league office Tuesday afternoon.
The Jackrabbits have now earned the distinction in three consecutive weeks, with both of Weber's honors coming during that span.
Earning the honor for the seventh time in his career, this one comes after his weekend performance at the Coyote Invite. The senior won the 1-Meter with a team season-high score of 324.90, while also placing second in the 3-Meter (303.15). Weber has now won five events this season.
Up next for the swimming and diving team, the Jacks have their sights set on the Summit League Championships at the Midco Aquatic Center in Sioux Falls, Feb. 20-23.
