SIOUX FALLS – South Dakota State golfer
Teresa Toscano won the Women's College division of the 2019 Sanford Futures Golf Championship, Tuesday.
A total of six Jackrabbit women's golfers were competing in the event.
Toscano finished the two-round event at 5-over (72-75=147). She finished at-par in round one which was played at The Falls Grand Falls Casino & Golf Resort, a par-72, 6,155-yard course.
Round two was played at the par-70, 6,015-yard Willow Run Golf Course, where Toscano claimed victory over the 22-player field.

Toscano adds some new hardware to the collection, winning the 2019 Sanford Futures Golf Championship Women's College division.

Sydney Bormann finished tied for third at 11-over (78-75=153) while
Mia Seeman placed tied for fifth at 16-over (77-81=158) to round out the top-five on the leaderboard.
Lani Potter finished in eighth (78-81=159) shooting 17-over.
Incoming freshman
Jenna Sutcliffe finished in 12th at 21-over (82-81=163). Sutcliffe competed in the event last year, winning the Girls 16-18 division.
Sydney Wirebaugh placed 17th at 27-over (85-84=169).
