Nothing came easy for the South Dakota State baseball team in claiming the 2013 Summit League Baseball Championship.

With their season seemingly riding on every pitch, the Jackrabbits won four games over three days to win their first Summit League postseason title. While earning the program's first NCAA Tournament berth at the Division I level may have gained the headlines, this also is a story of perseverance and redemption – both individually and collectively.
