Grace Waage, middle distance runner from Sioux Falls Bishop O'Gorman High School, has signed to run with the Jackrabbit Track and Field program.  Â
Waage finished 35th in the South Dakota State Class AA cross country meet this past fall and helped the Knights to win the team title at the state meet. Her personal best for 5,000 meters in cross county is 20:10. Â
On the track, she has contributed in the relays and the 800 for the Knights. Waage nabbed state medals at the 2019 state meet in both the 4x800 meter relay and the sprint medley relay.   Her best open 800 time is 2:22. Her 2020 track and field season was wiped out due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
She plans to major in architecture.
