BROOKINGS — The South Dakota State track and field teams end their regular season Friday at the SDSU Last Chance meet in the Sanford Jackrabbit Athletic Complex. The meet is set to begin at 3:30 with the final event scheduled to go off at 6:40 p.m. Information for all home events can be found here.

The meet will mark the final competition of the season for South Dakota State before Summit League Championships Feb. 28 and 29 in Fort Wayne, Ind.

LAST TIME OUT:
South Dakota State ended a busy weekend having captured several individual titles, accounted for 16 changes to the program's top 10 list, three new school records and a slew of personal bests between the SDSU Indoor Classic at the SJAC and the Iowa State Classic in Ames, Iowa. JACKS LEADING THE SUMMIT LEAGUE:
Oksana Covey holds the fastest 800 mark in the Summit League with a time of 2:08.33 from the Iowa State Classic where she took ninth an earned the new SDSU indoor record. Joshua Yeager ran an 8:15.18 at the same meet, earning fifth in the event as well as landing him fifth on the all-time list at SDSU. Joseph Minor-Williams leads the Summit League in the men's 5000. Minor Williams grabbed the No. 10 spot on SDSU's all-time list for the men's 5000 with his mark of 14:30.09, also at the Iowa State Classic. Daniel Clark is first in the Summit League in the men's long jump where he holds a mark of 24-00.25.
