BOULDER CITY, Nev. - South Dakota State women's golf won the Jackrabbit Invitational Tuesday afternoon with a third-round team score of 295.
RESULTS
"Very proud of the ladies and happy for them to get a win! We have worked very hard this winter and I am glad some of them are starting to see results," said head golf coach Casey VanDamme. "We look forward to continued improvement the rest of the spring."
In the 14-team event, SDSU finished with a team total of 896 (+32), 13 strokes ahead of second-place Boston College at the par-72, 6322 yard Boulder Creek Golf Club.
Teresa Toscano led the Jacks and tied Sarah Bell of Oral Roberts for second in the 80-player field. Madeline Jin of Boston College placed first with a total score of 217 (+1).
Mia Seeman placed fourth individually with a 220 (+4) capped by a 1-under-par performance in the final round.
Alex Kandolin shot a 75-74-81—230 (+14) to finish tied for 10th. Cassidy Laidlaw finished 18-over (75-90-69--234) in a tie for 17th and Sydney Bormann tied for 49th with a 246 (+30).
Lani Potter scored a 16th place 233 at 17-over. Jenna Sutcliffe (253) and Sydney Wirebaugh (256) tied for 63rd and 68th, respectively.

The women will play the Lady Thunderbird Invitational, hosted by Southern Utah University March 12-13 in St. George, Utah.
