Jackrabbit Football Saturdays debut Sept. 5

South Dakota State football fans can relive some of the top moments in recent Jackrabbit history through the re-airing of radio game broadcasts and a variety interactive features, which are set to begin next week.Â
Jackrabbit Football Saturdays will debut Sept. 5 on flagship station WNAX 570 AM, with additional access online at GoJacks.com/watch and through the Jackrabbit app, which is available for download through the Apple and Play stores. The broadcasts, which will air from noon until 3 p.m. each Saturday through Nov. 21, will include the play-by-play accounts of the games, interviews with head coach John Stiegelmeier and student-athletes who played in the game, as well as updates on current events at South Dakota State University and within Jackrabbit Athletics.Â
In addition, video highlights, facts about that week's game, as well as the chance to win prizes, will be featured on Jackrabbit football-related social media accounts and the Jackrabbit app throughout the broadcast. Among the interactive features will be a "Where Were You?" segment, giving fans the opportunity to share their best stories and memories from each of the selected games.Â
Each week's game will be announced via social media on the preceding Tuesday.Â
