South Dakota State will take a quick trip down I-29 to Sioux Falls for three neutral site games at the Crossover Classic beginning Monday at 6 p.m. against Nevada. The Jackrabbits will also take on Washington (Tuesday) and George Mason (Wednesday) in the tournament.

- South Dakota State went 2-0 on the second week of the season with wins against Montana State and Presentation. The Jackrabbits have won three in a row.Â
- SDSU is the only school in the country to score 80+ points and hit at least nine three-pointers in five games this season. The last time SDSU scored at least 80 points in five consecutive games to open a season was in 2000-01.
- The Jackrabbits are top five in the nation in total threes with 54 makes from beyond the arc. Individually, Noah Freidel ranks first in the country in the same category with 18 triples.
- The Jacks' 18 three-pointers against Presentation tied for the second-most in a game in program history.
- South Dakota State is second in the nation in total assists with 84 on the year. Against Presentation, the Jackrabbits had an assist on 26 of their 35 field goals, the third-most in a game in program history.
- Douglas Wilson is getting to the free throw line often in the early goings of the season with the 14th-most attempts in the country (27).
- Noah Freidel leads the Jackrabbits in scoring, averaging 19.2 points per game. The sharpshooter is 18-of-39 (46.2%) from beyond the arc. Freidel went 7-for-12 from deep in two games last week.
- SDSU is shooting over 50% from the field and 42% from three this season.
- South Dakota State is 6-8 when playing inside the Sanford Pentagon since 2014, but is 3-3 in its last six.
- Baylor Scheierman ranks second in the nation in defensive rebounds per game, averaging 10.60 on the year. Of his 56 total rebounds, 53 of them have come at the defensive end of the floor.
