SDSU earned its second win over a Pac-12 program in school history Saturday, stunning Washington State 77-74 on
Baylor Scheierman's buzzer-beating 3-pointer.
The Jacks have won a non-conference road game in 14 consecutive seasons, including nine wins over Power 5 conference teams.Â
SDSU has won at least two non-conference games away from home in 12 of the last 14 years.Â
The Jackrabbit offense has been excellent this season. SDSU leads the nation in three-point shooting at 45.5 percent, while shooting 51.1 percent overall, seventh best in Division I.
Baylor Scheierman's five double-doubles are the 11th most in Division I. A huge reason why is his knack for corralling rebounds. His 8.75 defensive boards per game are the second most in Division I. while his overall average of 9.3 rebounds is the best in the Summit League.Â
Douglas Wilson joined SDSU's 1,000-point club last week. He now has 1,024 points in his Jackrabbit career, which ranks 43rd. He scored 1,138 points in two years at Kirkwood Community College, giving him an overall total of 2,158 points.Â
Sharing the basketball has been a key to the Jackrabbits' success. SDSU's dishing out 17.0 assists per game, the 27th most in Division I. Â The Jacks have recorded 20 assists in four different games this season.
SDSU ranks second nationally in scoring at 89.3 points per game. The Jacks have scored 90 points in five games and have hit the 80-point mark in ten of 12 outings.
Noah Freidel ranks 12th nationally in three-pointers per game (3.64) and is 20th in points per game (20.1).
Wilson ranks 13th nationally in free throws attempted (67).
