South Dakota State's season-opening baseball series scheduled for this weekend at Kansas has been relocated indoors to Minneapolis due to extended wintry weather throughout the middle of the country.
Â
Instead of a four-game series in Lawrence, Kansas, the Jackrabbits and Jayhawks will now play a three-game set at U.S. Bank Stadium in downtown Minneapolis. The opener is set for a 6:25 p.m. first pitch Friday, with the second game of the series slated for 5:25 Saturday afternoon. The Sunday finale is set for 8:25 a.m.
Â
The games will be played without fans. Live statistics will be available through links at GoJacks.com.
Â
Kansas leads the all-time series, 6-1. The Jackrabbits' lone win in the series was a 6-5 victory in the 2007 season opener that was moved to the Metrodome in Minneapolis.
