FARGO, N.D. – South Dakota State women's soccer claimed a 2-1 victory Friday evening over North Dakota State in Fargo, N.D.

The Jackrabbits improved to 7-0-4 with the win, using goals from
Maya Hansen and
Katherine Jones to defeat the Bison.

State outshot NDSU 11-6 in the contest. Hansen posted a team-best three shots, while
Reagan Anderson and
Eden Brooker each recorded two.
Taylor Lock started between the pipes before
Jocelyn Tanner replaced her at the half.

North Dakota State struck early taking a 1-0 lead with a goal in the sixth minute from Danielle Algera. The Jacks fired four shots in the opening frame, but were unable to score.

Early into the second half
Rachel Hewitt sent a cross from the right side of the box toward the middle where it reached the foot of Hansen who found the back of the net in the 55
th minute to tie the game.

Less than 10 minutes later, Jones scored the game winner at 63:37, sending a shot from deep on the right side that found its way past NDSU's defense and thru the keeper's legs. NDSU wouldn't get a shot off the rest of the way as the Jackrabbits claimed its seventh win to remain unbeaten.
