South Dakota State has started Summit League play 11-0 for the first time in program history.
SDSU has won 14 straight at Frost Arena, the 7th longest active home court win streak in Division I. The Jacks have won 69 of the last 71 at home.
Monday marked SDSU's 20th win of the season. The Jacks joined Auburn and Murray State as the only three Division I men's teams with 20 victories.
SDSU is one of six in Division I with 10 or more conference wins. SDSU has 11, while Murray State, Iona, Toledo, Weber State and Cleveland State all have 10.
The Jacks lead the nation in three-point shooting at 44.5 percent. SDSU's 9.7 triples per game is 21st in the country. They have struggled lately, going just 6-for-30 in their last two games.
In conference play,
Baylor Scheierman leads the Summit League in rebounds (8.1), assists (4,5) and field goal percentage (.559). He's also third in steals (1.6) and fifth in points per game (18.2).
Overall, SDSU is shooting 51.8 percent, which ranks second to Gonzaga (53.5) in Division I.
The Jacks are averaging 86.9 points per game, the second best in Division I. SDSU has scored 90 points ten times, including each of the last three games. The Jacks have hit the 80-point mark in ten of 11 league games and 20 of 24 total.
Douglas Wilson has 1,193 points in his Jackrabbit career, which ranks 26th all-time. He scored 1,138 points in two years at Kirkwood Community College, giving him an overall total of 2,331 points.
Four times this season, the Jacks have dished out 24 or more assists in a game. Entering the 2021-22 campaign, SDSU had only two games with 24 assists in its first 17 seasons of D1 hoops. SDSU's 375 assists rank 8th in the nation.
