MARTIN, Tenn. — Four South Dakota State University riders claimed Most Outstanding Performer honors Saturday as the Jackrabbit equestrian team wrapped up the regular season with a 14-2 victory over Minnesota Crookston in head-to-head competition.

The Jackrabbits, who improved to 4-7 on the season, won all eight matchups in the jumping seat events to highlight their victory. Samantha Hunsecker earned MOP honors in fences with a score of 79, while Hannah Steele was selected as the MOP in flat with a score of 80. Steele also added an individual win in fences by posting a score of 73
 Margaret Franke and Julia Werkhoven were other two-time winners for SDSU. Werkhoven recorded team-best scores of 83 in fences and 82 in flat, while Franke won her head-to-head matchups with a score of 81 in fences and 62.5 in flat.
 Cali Karbler completed the jumping seat sweep with a 79-point ride in flat.

In Western competition, Shelby Cochran was named MOP in horsemanship after posting a score of 76, with Lydia Loken earning MOP recognition in reining with a score of 67.

Also winning their matchups in horsemanship were Grace Blake (75) and Callyn Fox (72). Natalie Gydesen (66) and Isabelle Riggs (63) were also victorious in reining.
