Inclement weather and unfavorable field conditions have forced the delay of the start of South Dakota State's home baseball series this weekend against Western Illinois.

The three-game series is now slated to begin Saturday and conclude Sunday. Game times have yet to be determined and further updates will be posted online at GoJacks.com and via Twitter (@GoJacksBaseball). Saturday's game is designated as Military Appreciation Day with active and former military members receiving free admission.

The Jackrabbits have yet to play a home game this season and enter the weekend with a 9-15 overall record, including a 3-3 mark in The Summit League.
