BROOKINGS, S.D. – A schedule opening has provided an opportunity for the South Dakota State men's basketball team as the Jackrabbits have added a non-conference game at Arkansas to its slate.
Â
The Jackrabbits will face the Razorbacks in Fayetteville at Bud Walton Arena on Wednesday, Nov. 16. The two programs have never met on the hardwood. Arkansas, under fourth-year head coach Eric Musselman, heads into the upcoming season expected to be among the upper echelon of Division I basketball. The Razorbacks have advanced to the Elite Eight in the NCAA Tournament back-to-back seasons. Â
Â
SDSU is now expected to play two contests at the regular season multi-team event held at Enmarket Arena in Savannah, Ga., from Nov. 25-27. Opponents, game dates and times are still being finalized.Â
