South Dakota State continues Summit League play on the road on Saturday at 1 p.m. when the Jackrabbits visit Grand Forks to take on North Dakota. The game is the second of three consecutive away contests for SDSU.

The Fighting Hawks are 104-92 all-time over the Jackrabbits, but SDSU holds the edge in the series of late. The Jacks have won 13 straight matchups against the Fighting Hawks which dates back beyond UND joining The Summit League. SDSU has won 17 of the last 18 games against UND going back to the 2003-04 season.

SDSU is coming off a 65-59 defeat in Fargo at NDSU on Thursday. The Jacks led for a majority of the contest and SDSU garnered the largest lead of the matchup early in the first half, a nine-point advantage just nine minutes in. The score was knotted at halftime, but SDSU was able to gain a 48-41 lead with just under 10 minutes. NDSU worked its way back, and led 60-59 with less than a minute remaining, and was able put the game out of reach down the stretch.

The Jackrabbits, despite committing a season-low six turnovers, were outrebounded 40-28 in the contest. The Bison outshot the Jacks 44-40% and were led by a 24-point, 13-rebound effort by Andrew Morgan. SDSU's
Zeke Mayo scored a team-high 13 points and grabbed a team-best seven rebounds. It was Mayo's seventh game leading SDSU in scoring and fifth as leader in boards. It followed a strong set of performances a week prior in Frost Arena.

Mayo's games versus Western Illinois and St. Thomas earned him his first Summit League Men's Basketball Peak Performer of the Week award on Jan. 3. He averaged 22.5 points, 7.5Â
rebounds and 3.5 assists per game. He leads SDSU scoring 14.8 points and grabbing 6.5 rebounds through 15 contest this season.Â

North Dakota is 6-10 overall (3-3 SL). The Hawks have been led by BJ Omot's 11.4 points and Tsotne Tsartsidze's 4.4 rebounds per contest.
