The South Dakota State women's equestrian team completed a successful home weekend by posting a 13-1 victory over Minnesota Crookston Saturday at the DeHaan Equestrian Center.

The Jackrabbits improved to 3-6 overall in head-to-head competition and 3-2 in the ECAC. UMC dropped to 0-8 overall and 0-5 in the ECAC.

Cali Karbler led the Jackrabbits with a pair of victories in the jumping seat events, posting a winning score of 85 in her fences matchup and adding a win in flat with a score of 81. Ella Domenicone earned Most Outstanding Performer honors in fences after tallying a meet-best 88 points, while Rachel Darby (75) and Samantha Hunsecker (72) closed out an SDSU sweep in the category.

SDSU riders captured all four MOP accolades as Hannah Steele earned the distinction in flat, while Callyn Fox and Isbelle Riggs were honored in horsemanship and flat, respectively. Steele turned in a score of 84 in her matchup against Alex Pfaffenbach, while Julia Werkhoven contributed a winning score of 85 points as the Jackrabbits claimed three points in flat.

Fox and Shelby Cochran shared team-high scoring with 74.5 points en route to victories in their head-to-head matchups in horsemanship. Annika Hanson turned in a ride of 72 to pick up another team point for the Jackrabbits.

SDSU added three more points in reining, with Riggs (73.5 points), Lydia Loken (72) and Cassandra Townsend (68) coming out victorious for the Jackrabbits.
