BROOKINGS, S.D. – The two teams that have locked their positions up in the top two spots of The Summit League Tournament meet on Saturday at 2 p.m. when Oral Roberts visits Frost Arena to take on South Dakota State. The Golden Eagles are 26-4 overall and 17-0 in conference play, already having claimed the league's regular season title, while the Jackrabbits enter the regular season finale at 18-11 overall and 13-4 in The Summit League.Â

The Golden Eagles and Jackrabbits meet for the second time this season after having previously opened the league schedule versus one another in Tulsa on Dec. 19. Oral Roberts coasted to a 79-40 win over SDSU as the Jacks shot just 26.2% from the field. ORU was led by Connor Vanover's 21 points. The Golden Eagles and Jacks have split their last six meetings.

While Oral Roberts is riding a 13-game winning streak, SDSU is on a streak of its own with seven consecutive victories. The Jackrabbits produced one of its best defensive efforts this season on Thursday versus Kansas City. SDSU defeated the Roos by a 73-50 margin. The Jacks kept the Roos to an opponent season-low field goal percentage of 32.8% while the 50 points allowed matched the lowest total of the year since a 61-50 win over Valparaiso on Nov. 25.Â

South Dakota State is in the midst of two active streaks. The Jackrabbits have won 20 straight Summit League games in Frost Arena dating back to the 2020-21 season. The Jacks have also earned 15 straight victories in the month of February dating back to the 2020-21 season. That active stretch of wins in the month is the longest among all Division I men's basketball programs.

Aaron Fiegen prior to Saturday's game. The three graduating student-athletes have over the past five years helped lead the program to 110 victories.Â

Oral Roberts enters matchup with the nation's third best scoring offense (84.6 PPG). Max Abmas is Division I's fourth leading scorer at 22.6 points per contest, while Vanover is second in the country in blocks per game (3.3).
